Well if you start comparing SF to other forums (anyone looked at Nerfhaven recently?
) we start to look pretty good.

Well at times the forum intelect is simply a disciplinary thing, of coarse most people will be prone to make a dumb post at the begining of their membership.
If one compares SF to , sadly dead, Roguesci the one notices that their posts(ignoring the BFL section and the watercooler) are very productive. They have had alot more members than we do so its different however things like: You need to have made atleast 10posts before starting a thread, would make life alot less dumb on here.
Also personally I found a Banned for life section very helpful to keep you from doing something dumb another person has before.
If the situation really gets to a point at which 50% of all recently made threads are junk perhaps making rules a little tighter ant more strict would help.
Also we could introduce an obligatory spellcheck for certain people who have trouble with it, that would definately be a great punishment, a month or so over which every post you make gets spell checked, or the next 50posts from the time you get your punishment are spell checked.
Just throwing ideas out there.

Well, it is changing for sure.
But it has gone down drastically the last year (don't know anything about the up and downs during this period of time) but as mentioned we still have a selection of very experienced people.
I just mentioned this because there is so many posts that has nothing to do here. On many other forums many of the Spudfiles member would be banned for life.
That might be the reason i think it has dropped to, I have been around on some other forums that have something i would call "Nazi-modding" against the new members.
That's my opinion at least.

Ok so I got slingshots and a crapload of bad grammer, is that all that has come out of the spudding world scince I havnt been here to kick your asses?!
I got my 2 3/4" QEVs in the mail after a 5 month wait so i hav to put my thinking cap on to make something with them. One will be used for a paintball single shot fun gun (not for human targets). Short alum barrel (300mm) Short chamber (250mm x 25mm Stainless) and a simple BV trigger. Running on helium at 300 - 400 psi.
Im starting a transport business (no not like 'the transporter'), a service for people who dont have have towballs or cant hire a trailer for another reason. Charged per time and distance, like getting a new fridge from the local appliance shop and so on.
