Haha really! Is your dad maori kiwi or white kiwi?

Ever been to NZ?
He is a cross between the two I think but Id have to ask him to be sure.
I lived in NZ for 6 years, it is a great country.

Where did you live? I'm up in Auckland.

Lucky you got over to the States before you got into this hobby, the prices here are crazy.

It is summer, well here :)

Our winters have been terrible recently, you probably don't remember but for about 6months a year we just get cold winds and rain 24/7.

It's been quite nice this summer during December and January though.

No - Those jeans were very heavily worn - they were "construction jeans", very old clothing that was no longer suitable for regular wear, gets used for dirty jobs - and as I'm not particularly prone to rubbing my crotch up against things, that area retained more of it's original colour.

No, but interestingly an interest in building things and engineering does. One uncle got a nomination for a prestigious award a year or so back, another does all kinds of building and repair of old tractors and lorries - including one diesel lorry that's so large it only gets about 2 to 3 mpg, and has a top speed of about 20 mph.
There's a funny story about that lorry where some woman tried to overtake him and hit the side of it because she didn't realise how long it was - thing was, she didn't want to admit this to her husband, so she said it happened half a mile later at a roundabout, and that my uncle tried to undertake on the inside... this goes to court - the judge takes one look at the facts and throws it out - passing on the inside in a lorry that tops out at 20 mph?
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

At least you don't get several feet of snow over the course of two weeks.

in my opinion snow is good because we only get a few inches once every couple months and its almost always gone the next day.But it would defenatly suck to have a couple feet of snow outside a all times during the winter.

Snow sucks here, when we actually get it. We get a few inches, then it melts the next day, then freezes overnight so all the roads are sheets of ice.

But normally we just get freezing rain. Had a particularly bad storm a few weeks ago. Millions of trees lost branches and had to be taken down.
