Hello to the spudfiles website community,

I am writing this post to explain my absence through past and now future website discussion.
My absence until now has been due to a family holiday to the United States, which in total was 6 weeks, i want to take the chance to let you all know that i have lost most of my interest in this hobby and am becoming more attracted & focused on social events and such. Also trying to settle back into my old ways after the holiday.

I am also undergoing my final year of secondary schooling (yr12) this year and could probably do without the 1 extra distraction of destruction and such and focus on my studies.

My current girlfriend of 5 months and I are going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment, this is mainly due to the lengthy 6 weeks that we have been separated, some things have changed between us, mainly that we have become tolerant of not being with each other as often as we did before i left, i feel that she is more important to me than being distracted by the creativity of others work and my own in this hobby area. I do need to be with her to get through this. That being said, it is another factor tied in with the other contributing events in my life towards my decision that i need to give up this hobby and put her and my studies before my hobbies and everything else to be perfectly honest.

I almost eligible for a Victorian firearms license, and once i gain this privilege i feel i will most certainly lose all interest in building, modifying, and using homemade arms and related.

I would just like to thank all the member of this forum that have helped by offering, and accepting information to me, and also all the positive comments towards my past work.

Also i would like to take the chance to wish you all the best as you advance through your hobbies and development towards homemade arms, good luck with it all.

Cheers to all

.

^^ wtf exactly, lol nah i promise i wont.

Thanks for the concerns and all pizlo, i hope it works out too.

MrCrowldawg, i have no idea wat im gonna do with it right now, the blowgun is starting to fail from such high pressures (320+) and im sure most plastics aren't meant to go that far, so who knows if the chance comes around in the future to rig it up with high pressure pilot, i might just have to run unregged co2, we'll see.

America, the greatest gangster of all time. With 200 million odd foot soldiers at it's whim and call.

you sir have made some of the finest guns that this site has seen and i among many will miss you. But you have made the right decision because you must put real life ahead of the part of your life that you have shared with us. I wish you luck in your life's adventure and I hope that you stop in from time to time to say hi.

RE: Sandman,

Thanks mate, thanks a ton, ya know one one the best things about this site is the members, you can all act in a civilized manner, act in a professional way about it all, and most of all just get along, you dont have people keyboard-bashing on practically any threads, its great and its one this im probably certain to miss about this.

But like you said, i have been faced with a choice and ive put my actual life in front of everything i have learned here.

What can i say, thanks for the experience.
