Seriously people, why do we have 2727 members (12/2/06 at 4:40 pm in CA) and the link to the rules as been visited 713 times? Anyone who reads this post, go to the rules and read them.

Seems that most don't read them. They tent to slip the mind from time to time. I remember posting a thread that wasn't within and cought myself and went back and deleted it. The one about sarcasum gets pretty much stomped on. Also the one about being a jerk, (like putting others work down, in a rude mannor).

what you should do is shorten the rules to like 2 3 word statements and when you go to hit join buttonn it would be like "dont be a jerk" then you would hit next "no explosives" then you would hit next and so on, then after you read them you could actually enter your new member name and password

That would be hilarious, but eventually people would just think to themselves, "Damn, let me register already!" and just keep clicking the mouse while they play Solitaire or something.

That would make members read them allrite. Would probly take a long time to reregister all the members that will go through paces to be members again, not to mention the website setup.

to tell you the truth, most all of the rules are just common sense/courtacey (sp?) I hadn't read the rules untill like a month ago...
Movie dialogue: "The good die first."
Tom: "But most of us are morally ambiguous, which explains our random dying
patterns."

Rules to anything also act as a guide, mainly a what not to do, but still helps guide.

Yea, common sense, but ocasionly(sp) your idea of common sense is different from someone else's idea of it. Lines get crossed, people get affeneded, then a atitude about it, and the chain reaction of bs startes. And your rite, everybody else is allways wrong. What then?...??

Still, if you join a forum site, you should read the rules just in case. You could get flamed at Spudtech for talking about paintballing with a homemade paintball rifle, even if it shot at safe speeds.

I'm a new member. Untill two weeks after I joined I didn't even know about the rules, someone mentioned it in a reply to one of my postings (which I immediately deleted once I read the rules). Maybe the rules should be read before you can be a guest or sign up.
