Ok I am going to spend some what of a lot of money on this one. I was wondering if there is some way to make a airsoft sniper? I have the stock and everything figured out but i need a good valve that will hold high pressures or a bolt and a spring like in the ones they sell on the market. And i expect really good performance from this gun too. And for all u out there who like to pick on me there is notin in the wiki or anywhere about snipers.

get a barrel to start with. i dont know what yo mean by "high pressure" because to me high pressure is 1000+ psi, yet to propel a bb at airsoft speed it only takes about 70 psi or so. i therefore recommend a inline valve of somesort. i dont know if an inline QEV would work because i have never used on, but it probably would, so if i were you i would look into that.

i recommend making the stock out of wood (if you can) and fit the chamber in there. this will give you a stream line look to it and make it easyer to hold.

i find that to make a cannon "nice" you dont nessesarly have to spent lots of money, but just get really creative.

buy an airsoft sniper.......

trust me, nothing you build will work as well as an upgraded airsoft sniper. go for the police sniper takedown model, and slap a highflow valve in it..........

you stick a 6.01 barrel and some form of a hop up system in it you can make one hell of an accurate gun.and that plus a nice QEV or something is only gonna run you like $120. now an upgraded sniper is gonna be what like $300 when all is said an done. you know what might be even better is buy a cheap gas pistol ($40 or something) then rip out the stock barrel stick a tightbore from like a m4 in it and put an ris mount on top of it buy a scope. that should make a decent rifle

I think it is quite possible to build something that has very close performance to an airsoft sniper. The main problem I have found through my experimenting is that you either need an incredibly super quick opening valve, or something to hold the pellet in place while pressure builds up behind it and when there is enough force behind it, it shoots out. Its no good using a blowgun, because it just doesn't open fast enough and not enough flow.

I'm making my own 1/4" QEV for about $4 to use in an airsoft sniper, I plan on making the rest out of steel and using it at around 300 psi.

I have made an airsoft gun with a QEV and it preforms REALY well.

I can get the gun to 200PSI and it will shoot BBs through biscuit tins and thin sheet metal.

The best thing to do would be to incorperate a QEV into the stock somehow, and stray have it all contained in a gun shell or somehting.
