quick inline vortex question

Make a full hole vortex block (about 20 less rps than partial hole) with shrouds that only let a few BBs in at once.

mine is a full hole and im still getting around 100 a sec, anyway the battle testing went horrible. when i tested it the first time i only filled the chamber with 500 rounds and it worked okay... then i brought it to the field and filled the chamber all the way, all i got was a hiss the spring was to strong and the bbs couldn't move. but at the time i thought i had managed to jam something in the barrel so i just barrowed a gas sniper from a friend and played most of the game with that (and a crazy grenade launcher i made which did nothing other than scare the crap out of people). it was about time to leave when i figured out what was wrong. the gun must have been dropped becuase the epoxy sealing the air input nipple had broken and the power was greatly decreased. still scared the crap out of people though... the moral of the story use shrouds on full hole vortex blocks and epoxy isn't as strong as i thought when it comes to plastic to metal bonds. i think im going to rip the hole thing apart and start over (only took me about a day to build)

Yeah you need the spring to be just strong enough to keep the bb's going to the vortex.

well i already took it apart (im salvaging everything except the chamber itself) but ill lay the pieces out like they were on the gun... here they are

as i said the gun was not finished, i still need an AK style sight, a clip, and an upper receiver. of course every thing needs to be painted and stuff

WOW, thats nice looking. Too bad it broke, I also have troubles with my strafer, the BBs dont shoot when the spring is in mine either, and the epoxy on the front of my BBMG blew out too.

i probably should have sanded it but i was on a tight schedule. i learned about this game on Friday and i spent from Friday till Sunday gathering pieces. which left me with one work day to build the gun and barely enough time for the epoxy to dry. the funny thing is i have another working bbmg in my basement right now and i didn't bring it to the game because i was so confident that the new one would work fine. its just a normal "tee" version and it isn't very shinny like this one is, or as scary, but its a close second. i think im going with the half block form on the rebuild
