by plunger apparatus you mean my wooden piston right? as i the only thing that is pushing the bbs up? whats the point of the spring then?

The point I'm trying to make, is that you don't need anything to push the BBs.

maybe the bb's are sprating at first because you are shaking the gun slightly as you pull the trigger. that happens to my inline but it is just a thought.
