First cannon DONE!!
Not bad, i would consider modding the valve with a trigger, or if you want to go farther you can completely mod it further. follow this http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/how-to- ... t7038.html and you an get better performance. Nice first cannon thought.

Looks like a pretty sweet cannon! You shouldn't have used DWV prrts for it though. If possible, rebuild the gun with pressure rated parts so it'll be safe to take it up to higher pressures.
Summer Projects:
CO2 tank hybrid: Gotta fix the meter
Cane gun: Needs a pilot/fill setup
1.5" piston valve gun: Almost done

Not bad for a first cannon, especially with the size.
DWV kills the whole project though, if possible rebuild, like iPaintball mentioned.
Read up on moding your valve, even at the save pressure of 60 psi, you will see a significant difference in performance with the size of cannon you are working with.
BTW, how long is your barrel, and does it accept other barrels?

Trying to figure out how to make a SCUBA first stage regulator work for portable charging station. If only that pesky job thing didn't keep eating up all my time...

I have got one thats 12 volts but i live in NZ
Comments: it's Awesome! Love to see some damage pics and maybe a video.
Also How far does it Shoot?
Improvements: Mod the Sprinkler Valve with a blowgun trigger and on your next gun try and avoid DWV but this cannon should work fine.
Great job For your First gun.
Happy SPuddin'
Edit- @battlemonkey, I have a twelve one too. I'm in AUS I think it's the standard for Down Under.

Poo.
Yes, but you can get faster actuation by using more power.babyJ wrote:Read the fine print in the instructions they say 24 volts ac 9 volts minimum and 9 volts dc is enough to open it one way when u flip the switch and it closes when u turn it off.
You guys are qorrying about the least of his problems. Cut off the DWV before you kill yourself.HaiThar wrote:Yes, but you can get faster actuation by using more power.babyJ wrote:Read the fine print in the instructions they say 24 volts ac 9 volts minimum and 9 volts dc is enough to open it one way when u flip the switch and it closes when u turn it off.
