Hi,
this is my first combustion cannon.
I come from germany and here its hard to buy the parts. Because they look pretty concerned if a teenager buys a bunch of pvc pipes.

I think you can see how it works on the Pics
but if you have any questions just ask me.

some info:

the barrel is ~100 cm long and the diameter is ~5 cm
the whole chamber is ~50 cm long and the dia. is ~15 cm
the ignitor is from a lighter with ?brazed? cables to the screws

I´ll add a vid and some destruction pics later.

Here is a vid i made rrecently

Keep in mind that its slightly illegal to own/use spudguns in Germany. So you better don't get caught with it.

Oh cool, I went to Germany this year in April and stayed with a family in Traunreut(close to Munich) for a few days, best time of my life.

Keep up the good work with the spudguns, I think there is a German spudgun website somewhere, called Kartoffel Kanone or something.

thanks!!

I had my other barrel (for batteries or marbles) on it today and wanted to shoot and than the cap blew right off. I was lucky it was stuck right in the floor
but after that it worked and i couldn´t even see where the batterie flew. 8)

Hey Freder, welcome to Spudfiles.
Looks like a very good attempt for a first gun, kind of like my first but with style!
The reason the cap blew off when you changed barrels to the smaller one is because it is so much harder for the gases to exit out of a small barrel.
I would recommend sticking with your bigger barrel.
