nice little marble sniper you got there good damage man. to improve the look of the stock with a little more paper machae is to thake ta whole sheet of paper and cut it to the shape of the staok and put it on there would make it look smoother.

Ive made cone stabilized skrew darts that penetrate 1000+ pages of a phone book at 10m.

Look around the site more, you should find alot of gun/ammo ideas.

yeah, i have definatly experitemted with ammo from nails with dart cones to shotgun bbs, but i am trying to make a pointed slug from clay or epoxy putty, but marbles are definatly easy to load, reliable and cheap

Maniac-

I tried my best to smooth out the stock with paint and sand paper, and i apreciate your help

that would definetly make some carnage. i have used arrows, yes arrows, with cones and those are the ammo with the most penetration

Pretty nice, although the papier mache makes it look pretty ghetto - but from further away it looks great, as well as pretty "real". Be sensible with it, you don't want to alarm people.

Don't pay too much attention to the whole "rifle" argument, a lot of people are very pedantic about that - most people call their launchers "guns", and that strictly applies only to artillery (although a few launchers might qualify...)
Still, it's worth not deliberately going up against people.

@Zen: I'm still going to try that "sniping" challenge of yours if I ever get the chance...
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

well sed Ragnarok,

i just tried to construct a spud gun in the shape of a rifle

btw it looks ghetto, cuz there is till some wet paint on the stock, so when it dries it will look a bit better

btw the 25 mm bolt action rifle doesnt seem very acruate from the little video on the instructables. if you wtch the video, the ammo hits low to the left of the target
just to make it clear i have realized that co2 canisters are not good projectiles (they tumble) since making that video, i just had to have some video to enter the contest. since then i have switched to my own special homemade 1/2 nail darts, re bored the barrel to 1/2", and added an integral silencer (i mean.. um... barrel extension... yea!) as soon as i get my car ill be able to make some nice videos (some time in December i think)

yeah,

im not trying to dis ur gun, its pretty sweet and i have learned a lot from it.
co2 projectiles arent that great, but that scope is nice and can be used for some nice sniping

btw i like your Ak-47 style vortex and the rpg

Wonderful job on the ergonomics front, you've clearly made the effort to make it pretty as well as functional - and using original techniques, certainly never seen papier-mâché used on a spudgun before - for that I applaud you. However, I'll agree with the rest and admit that it does look a bit rough, perhaps you can mix some filler in with the glue mix that will enable you to sand it down to a smooth finish? As it is, it looks like it's covered in Zimmerit :)

Awesome sniper. You've done a good job of hiding the sprinkler and chamber. As far as im concerned, if it looks like a sniper rifle then you can call it one.
Airbeds... so many different uses
