has anyone used 2.5" electrical conduit as a TB barrel? It says sch40 but not much more except "rigid" and numbers.

Well it should have some sort of ASXXXX code on it I think, you can find out if it's rated if you have the AS code.

I think it's AS anyway :?

Ideally the whole thing, but that might be difficult to get together before it sets, unless you use a suitable cement.

However, if you just cement a 6-12" section near the base of the barrel, that will be absolutely fine - that's sufficently more than any fitting would do.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

They had 2.5" conduit pvc at my Lowes which I used for a barrel on my piston cannon. They had no reducers, so I ghetto fitted it with a 1.5"x2" threaded bushing without a hex and glued it into the barrel. It worked quite well for tennis-balls.

I was thinking of trying that, but Im just tired of making my own parts so I bought 2" barrel.
