Cheap BB launching device - valve
I am looking for advice on this really, I'd like to make a cheap BB launching device that's either semi automatic or bolt action.
But the mind boggling complexity of the valves I can think of would make this all but cheap.I have about a 10 dollar budget for the valve.
Thanks in advance.

you could use a blowgun as the valve? or you could make a piston?
edit: look at ant's guns because they are cheap and one is semi-auto (they are in BBMG showcase)

Making a photorealistic render takes a few dozens of hours of computing aloneMr. Beaver wrote:You don't have to be a jerk ant i asked what is the program not how it's called i ment is it like those 3D cause it's it's look like from a fu*king cartoon tv show......ant wrote:LoooL, if you open the picture it says solidworks at the topleft. Necrosis: What are you going to use for the valve?
You might see if you can find a junked washing machine and steel the water inlet control valve(s) from it. You might also look for the water control valve from a dishwasher or Frig ice maker.
I made a BBMG with this type of valve;
I got mine from a surplus place, it is an electrically activated diaphram valve. I paid $4.50.
The throat (3/8") is too small for a typical spudgun but more than big enough for a BB gun.
Using 36" of 1/4" brake line it'll launch multiple 0.17" BBs at ~350 FPS. With a better barrel, or an actual chamber, it'll probably do a lot better.

Awesome! Nice that u have a lathe, I am so yealous.Necrosis wrote:Yeah, I have access to a lathe though, so I will actually make a condor style valve now, inline in stead of under.ALIHISGREAT wrote:i think he is going to use an ant style homemade valve.jimmy101 wrote:Necrosis: What are you going to use for the valve?
