a 2" tee being used as a regular vortex block
what do you mean "used as", do you mean "used with"

normally I wouldn't worry about bb capacity in a hopper fed vortex it should be like over 400 bbs either way so spilling out entire hopper's full would be out of my budget,
whatever man we got the sizes but what is the shape is it dwv like B, and C or is it sch40 like A

There'll be a mounted bike pump though, so I can repressurise the chamber, i don't mind if I have to pump a few times, shoot for a few seconds, pump a few more times etc.

oh and by the way the proxy im using won't let me watch youtube so i couldn't see that.

edit: I don't know exactly what sort of tee I'll be using as I haven't got it yet but I'll put my money on A

When I was in school we didn't even have PCs handy, let alone internet access  so count your blessings ;)

The video basically shows the 2 litre air chamber in my project being emptied, it lasts less than 4 seconds.

Yeah, when i was at school we had to use a marble plate and chalk instead of a notebook and pen, (well think Commodore 64).
I wonder how these youngsters would have gone typing in all those darned DOS commands... When i left school I think Windows was just rearing it's ugly bloody head- SCREW YOU GATESY!!

ahh gotta love having to use dos commands. instead of using a search you would have to use the tree command to find your file directories, to send messages you had to use netsend... those were the days...

I actually have an idea for incorporating spud guns and computers here soon.. ;)

yeah agreed, i don't think i'll be running at 110 psi unless i hook it up to an air compressor, hopefully though if mine is anything like http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/highly- ... 13193.html
I'll be able to pump a few times and shoot it at a non-lethal pace so it can be safe for firefights. If i want to go hardout then I can hook it up to an air compressor or save up for co2 + regulator or pump like crazy for ages (the pump im thinking about getting can go up to 120psi)

Lol that was my first PC, imagine trying to explain to kids that PCs used to run on cassettes! Especially that now even music CDs are becoming redundant, let alone cassettes *sigh*

What's astounding about the pace of technology is that I can talk like a 75 year old when in fact I'm just one third of that age

Yes they did.

anyway, back on topic, how about somrthing like this - well, maybe configured differently, just wanted to give you an idea - basically you have a small BB chamber, but a larger hopper over it accesible by a ball valve. This way you keep your small firing chamber for low presusre loss and good power, but at the same time you can easilly refill it.

remember though that the ball valve would have to be larger so you dont have to agitate the bb's so much so they can fall through.

Good idea maybe I'll fit that in somehow. I think the fitting the vortex will fit in will be 1.5" though. 1" just seems too small and I don't trust making a vortex that small. Hopefully this is gonna turn out good.

Question: does anyone know what sizes of pressure hose you can get? Im gonning to try run it through my 3/4" barrel and fittings to conceal it so i guess it'll need to be pretty small
