Well I am an idiot I don't know all about it. I plan on making a coax but am lost... In the link you gave me does it talk about this?sthorne wrote:well, your kinda missing the concept.
are you making a coax or a regular T piston gun?
making epoxy pistons

i don't believe i ever gave you a link, but I'm sure if you look around for diagrams, you will figure it out. I believe you are smart enough to do so.

I don't know if its a coaxial for sure.
yeah, thats a coax, i drew you up a diagram myself to help you better understand the concept, hope it helps (i gotta eat supper so wont be back on for 30 mins)

Wait.. I didn't know you need another fill valve leading to the chamber. I thought that at first but then I read that the air leaks around the piston.
Click me (or else)
Thats what I read.

yeah, theres two methods, the leak method and the 2 fill up method, either one works. but you dont usually have air leak all around the piston, you just have air leak through a hole in the piston, but either way, it'll work.

Yah I like the leak method, seems cleaner. I know there should be exhaust holes but how do I make them?
with a drill. use between 3/16 and 1/4" drill bit.

I think you just had one of those if you dont know how to do it then you shouldnt be making these in the first place momentsCounterstriker wrote:Yah I like the leak method, seems cleaner. I know there should be exhaust holes but how do I make them?

I think you misunderstood or I am being an idiot agin.. When I said exhaust I meant the wholes for the air to leak into the chamber.. Wouldn't those wholes be too big and would let the air "flow" rather then leak.
lol, its hard to explain, but if you just watch the videos from the link you mentioned, its not that hard of a concept to grasp

Do you mean equilization holes in the piston?
if you do you dont need them unless the piston has o-rings because it wont be anywhere near airtight without orings and the air will freely fill the chamber.

yeah, he means equalization holes. and i tried telling him if he uses o-ring then he needs the hole and vise-versa. but w/e, i give up (no offense Counterstriker)

I can't understand your question.. sorry but.. I am a flaming idiot.. I understand almost all of the steps on making it, just not the park of "leaking air" and o-rings..bigbob12345 wrote:Do you mean equilization holes in the piston?

okay just make a piston valve without orings or equalization holes and you should be fine.
