First of all - I would have provided pictures to help show what I mean but I am unable to so I'll describe as best I can.
I'm making a 6mm vortex bb gun in a design similar to the Strafer Mk2. It is using a bike pump to pressurise a chamber which will power the gun. I am thinking about using the 3/4" pvc surrounding my 9/32" brass barrel (http://www.acornmodels.co.nz/product.php?prod=37186) as the chamber so I don't need a separate length of pipe. It will be enclosed at either end with a slide cap, which will have holes drilled in the them for the barrel to go out through. The holes will be JB Welded real good so nothing leaks. A schrader valve will thread into the chamber/barrel cover to attach the bike pump to. I am not sure what psi I will be pumping up to, but my pump is capable of 120psi. Will the brass barrel be able to withstand this pressure around it? Please advise. Thanks for input.

I use the same sort of brass tube as barrels in coaxials, it can easily take 400 psi around it.
