hmm, long time since i have been on this site. Think its time to make a cloud. Just have a few quick questions. How long should the chamber be? going to be 3 inch diameter. How long should the barrel be? The barrel should be 6mm id right? See allot of people using brake line for barrels, anything else work good?
trying to decide on a new project, probably something small.

Brake lines work well, since they're already set with a nipple, so all you have to do is drill a hole and screw the brake line in.
I get my piping from hobby shops
3 Inch diameter chamber? Thats big....

I would even say 1.25in
The rule of bbmg is
larger chamber=more ammo, less velocity
longer barrel=faster velocity, less ROF

If you're planning to use the cloud in an airsoft skirmish, i suggest having a smaller chamber and a longer barrel.

i made my cloud out of 1.5" end cap, 1.5" male threaded and a 1.5" threaded end cap. Along with a brass barrel it works a treat, rips up cans, card anything!

This is understood, however, is there a good ratio to maximize both ROF and velocity, or is it just trial and error?bigbob12345 wrote:I would even say 1.25in
