I used 2 in. round stock nylon for the vortex block with a 3/4 in. hole with shields covering half the hole.
The barrel is 5/16 brake line 14 1/2 in. long. I used a shrader lever valve that I had laying around.
I just used a screw on cap instead of the cam action couplers which were more expensive.
I couldn't find clear pvc, so I made a window out of 1/4 in. plexiglass and epoxyed it to the slot cut out.
The barrel and shroud assembly are screwed together if I ever need to remove it.
The handle and grip are pvc that have been heated to flare out the bottom and cover the valve.
I peeled the coating off a sweeper hose to make the spring for the BBs.
The mussel brake is just a 1 in.coupling drilled out.
This is my first post, so I hope I covered most of the information.[/img]

yeah I posted on your other page but now that I see more information I can post more for improvements...
I like the plexiglass touch. Sometimes when you don't have the right materials (clear pvc) you improvise; you improvised well.
I also like the heat treating on your grip. Another thing I personally would do is instead of using breakline use an actual airsoft barrel for improved accuracy and velocity.
Question time..
What kinda pressure are you using to fire? Since you are using a shreader valve a 14" barrel might be too long if you arnt using that much pressure. A longer barrel is good up to a point but if you don't have enough pressure you will get friction which will actually decrease velocity...
Are you going to install a scope, red dot, ACOG or any another kind of sightings?

I'm using a compressor that only goes to 100 lbs. It shoots pretty hard going through heavy cardboard. I was looking for smaller brake line but they didn't have smaller. Probably won't put any sights on it, I just done this to see it would work. My son has my good compressor that puts out 125 lbs, I'll try it when I get it back.

Here are some links to where you can buy online:
http://www.hobbytron.com/M324AirsoftSni ... Parts.html
http://www.hobbytron.com/M14InnerBarrel.html
http://www.airsplat.com/Categories/AC-UPI-BARREL.htm
http://www.hobbytron.com/AirsoftSpringB ... 31865.html
That last link is a cheap airsoft gun with a long barrel and scope... very cheap and crappy to use but good for parts such as barrel, scope, stock. There are other cheap guns on that site as well... I just picked a random cheap one with good accessories.
If you want more links let me know... I know of a good 20 websites that sell Airsoft barrels all over the place including other countries.

Yes. this is the first BBMG I've made. I have several spud guns I have made which I will post in the cannon section later after I read more on posting pictures.
