After my GCR rifle was kinda suces but unfortunaly very unacurate i want to build a presicion rifle.
see http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtop ... =gcr+rifle& for my GCR
Now my new idea is a presicion combustion rifle for 300 meters so 'bought a 4,5mm rifled barrel from orginaly from an airrifle. So can any one help me calculating the volume of the combustion chamber? with normal air and pure oxygen.
Please help me out desgining this rifle because if it will work this will be a sick mean killing machine.
(Not for kill or injure any human or animals ofcorse!)
Add or e-mail me on riddle_charley@hotmail.com if u want to help or build 2 parralel projects or give a reaction here!]

300 meters rifled 4,5mm combustion rifle
My AMC was initially intended for 4.5mm caliber, but it turns out combustions suck for such small calibers. You could make a really small chamber, but you'll have a hard time getting the fuel mix right.
You'd be better off making a pneumatic.
I made a 4.5mm pneumatic once, with a bug spray can for the tank. It could drive a small nail into wood at only 20 PSI.
So barrel + tank + pump + good blowgun = quick and powerful small caliber air gun. And you'll never run out of fuel.

The thing that you are planing will be much weaker and will reload much slower the the original rifle. The power comes with the diametar of the barrel. If you want a high preformance sniper make a copper coaxial pneumatic and launch paper funnels with nails. As fiveseven sad a small caliber combustions are pathetic. The best 4,5mm thing you can do is a strafer. At 200psi it will be acurate and evil
