This is the last one I am going to make for now.
The barrel is a 12 in. airsoft barrel, and the vortex block is made from plexiglass. The stock and sights are made from 3/4 pvc that were cut heated and bent into shape.
I use big screw head bolts that were epoxyed to the back.
The back sight is 3/4 pvc with trimmer line for the crosshairs.
The ammo window is plexiglass epoxyed on.
The barrel shroud was slotted out with a dremel saw blade.

Awesome job, looks like a lot of fun,
I've never seen anyone shape pvc like that.
I really like the window and the styling.

That is a beautiful gun! Looks like you payed a lot of attention to details. Great work
It's hard to soar with eagles when you're working with turkeys.

good job, but I would remove and paint the rubber sleeve on the airgun.
The body looks good and I'm lovin the stock but my favorite thing about it is the fact that you used an actual airsoft barrel and not brakeline like a lot of noobs.
Overall I would give this a 8/10. Good job.

I haven't looked in the BBMG section for a while but if I remember correctly, this one has got to be my favorite. The ammo window is sweet.
amenloving the fold out stock and all the effort into the pvc shaping Very Happy

Try and find a 5' long airsoft barrel. They can be harder to come by, especially in longer lengths, can be more expensive and are sometimes made from cheap materials.
I'd much prefer brakeline unless there was some sort of benefit from the airsoft barrel.

Thank for your comments, yes, I heated the pvc and bent it into shape, cut some notches in the mussel break and glue it in. I am going to cut off the red plastic on the trigger blow gun as Davidvaini said and paint it so it won't show as much. I have an idea to put a sliding trigger, like on a 45 Colt, to slide back and push the air gun lever.

lol I wasnt joking... there is a huge benefit from using an actual airsoft barrel rather than brakeline... with brakeline you dont get as tight as a fit as an airsoft barrel... the tighter the fit the greater the velocity as well as less air being wasted.MrCrowley wrote:I hope you are jokingDavidvaini wrote:the fact that you used an actual airsoft barrel and not brakeline like a lot of noobs.

9/32 Brakeline 7.14mm
1/4" Brakeline - 6.35mm
Standard AS Barrel- 6.08 to 6.12 sometimes bigger
Tightbore Barrel - 6.04mm
DB TB Barrel- 6.01mm
Airsoft BB - 6mm
Also you wouldnt want to get a 5 foot barrel... lol when you go longer than 16" with 120PSI for an inline you actually start to lose velocity because of friction.
