He has now changed his page so it doesn't look quite as similar, he used to have the exact same style that SpudFiles uses on there as his.
Yes, I am the guy that owns & operates SpudFiles (along with our extremely helpful moderators).

The Boss is not Scottcrete. He is dewey-1, the newly appointed head of the forums. Scott has since quite the site.
I have talked to him in PMs and e-mails, and he still feels he got the raw end of the deal. I do not think he yet understands that Spudfiles is the one that stood to get boned, and his retaliation is against our simple self preservation.

The fact that 'dewey-1' is still a member on the memberlist, I was under the impression TheBoss was still scottcrete. Oh well, it was still scottcrete who did the damage. The fact that the ownership has changed makes no difference unless dewey-1 starts reforming.
So did dewey-1 tell you when and why scott left?
Edit: TheBoss was still scottcrete at least up to the 17th.

No, everything I have heard is directly from Scott, so you may take that into whatever consideration you think is appropriate when processing the information.
MrCrowley, I think your signature sums up the mentality of Spudfiles when reacting to this matter quite well.

He would have had to have been for at least some time, as only an Admin can create another Admin account. As far as I have been told, Scott made the account for Dewey, tossed him the keys, and hit the road.

OK, so did Scott complain to you or something? Saying he was treated unfairly etc etc, or was he just letting you know that he no longer ran the forum and dewey-1 would be taking over?
Yeah I guess it does.

Makes sense. So did he tell you why he was telling you this?
Did you PM him through Spudfiles while this thread was up? Because if so, he probably made another account and has been reading this the whole time

He actually started talking to me a long while ago about a business deal, but since family emergencies had been keeping me from the forum, I did not really know what was going on. Ever since then, most of our talking has been about what is happening.
While he is playing the 'unfair treatment' card, he is not putting on a sob story, he just seems genuinely pissed since he thinks he was treated unfairly.
I had to explain to him that his cock had not grown long enough for him to be swinging it around the way he was, and that he is not a unique case, and was handled according to standard operating procedure.
I will post all or excerpts of our correspondence if I think it is necessary and relevant, and if I have the time.

Classic. Did he respond to that (if that's what you literally said, that is..) because that was my largest issue with him.BC Pneumatics wrote:... Thanks, the fact that he left over a hunch, and then came back to start spamming members, is not really a case he can defend. It should all be over soon enough anyway.

He has not responded, and I did not put it that way. My very odd position in all of this has given me an opportunity to keep a cool head and try to explain it to him in a decent fashion, since he did make a nice launcher or two. I know very well I could be wasting my time, but lost time is not as bad as lost potential in my mind.
