Hey everyone,
I've been lurking around this site for a while and just have a few questions about making a marble pneumatic.
First i am not sure if i am going to make a marble sniper that shoots 16mm marbles then how do i attach it to a sprinkler valve? i have researched but i need to make sure how. (do you thread it to a male adapter that fits into the sprinkler valve? as seen )
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/fatcats ... 13185.html there?
http://www.instructables.com/id/25MM-Pn ... per-Rifle/ cost to make this gun? (and i don't need to be picky just roughly will do, and if you don't mind in Australian dollars)
Thank you for help in advanced if i cant talk to you because it's 9.12 pm ATM and may not be able to reply past 12.00 am
p.s. i know i should research so i have before i ask but these are just some questions i don't really know and kind of just asking for peoples opinions

Well if the barrel is PVC it's nominal diameter will be 15mm. So you need a 15mm fitting with a socket one end (which slips over the pipe) and 15mm female threads on the other. Then just get a 15mmx25mm malexmale threaded adapter.
That's only one of the many combinations you could do it in. Just go to Bunnings and spend an hour messing around with the pipe and fittings. It's all straight forward once you see it and they usually have staff in the plumbing section that will help you out with what goes where.

Does anyone know the total price of these items?

Yes, it will cost X amount of dollars.

It all depends on your local store. Shipping costs are different. Anyways, Did you find what you needed?

you should build fatcat'ss sniper or if you want to make it simpler but a little less efective make a simple ball valve gun. but personally i would go with fatcat's sniper

For me it would cost around $43. I was also planning on making the 25mm gun. It looks so awesome. My design would be a little bit different though.
What a waste of 300 spud bux.

i have built everything today it just needs 24 hours for the PVC cement and primer to cure so i will be testing the gun tomorrow. all together it cost about 60 dollars plus i brought a foot pump that goes up to 100psi. it looks good has a stock and everything just i had a 'quick test' in which everything was screwed in place and i pumped it up a bit and notice that there was a leak in the sprinkler valve or something because i could hear a small whistle so i am worrying a bit.
anyone know what to do?

thank you for the help again MrCrowley is my gun stuffed now that i tried to pump it up? i only gave it one pump and heard the leak near the sprinkler valve but i have epoxied the hell out of that thing so i hope by tomorrow morning it will be fine.
What do you think is it stuffed?
PS: i am only taking my gun up to 90psi because the blowgun i use says not to take it above, which it has a cool little caution sticker
