I can't believe 13 days after new years and this thread is still alive.
Yep, though I do not see what poison and grasshoppers have to do with a happy new year.

The holy book of the spudders is not yet completely recovered, but a small amount of pages have been found. They are now open for view here.
Legends tell that the holy book has been buried deep in the earth to protect it from a certain type of lifeform. Only the one with the purest common sense is allowed by the gods to read the book. If one of the inadequate lifeforms would read it, they would be dangerous for their selves and their environment and be punished by the gods.

Besides finding the book, some people have had visions of certain pages of it. One of those people built a semi-automatic golfball cannon next day, and another one constructed a two hundred x mix hybrid after he had the vision.
They say that developing your belief in science and physics will put you closer to the gods and enlarge the chance of a vision. Build more awesome cannons to show that you are loyal to the gods, but beware, the devil that hides between thin-walled pipe is always looking for souls. And if you dont watch out, he will cast a deadly curse on you, also known as DDT...
Till the day I'm dieing, I'll keep them spuddies flying, 'cause I can!

Yeah this is true. There is a reference to it in Karate Kid as well...during the wax-on, wax-off waxing cars scene.

I drove cross country from Oregon to South Carolina on a Southern Route to avoid the snow. 3500 miles in 4 days.
