This was posted already today. That is a strange coincidence. Any questions ask them in the link above.

I think you're being highly unfair to ckman. :x

He cannot be blamed for this in the slightest, and doesn't deserve your ridicule, because the cannon was correctly posted in the pneumatic section under the name of "Butane powered pneumatic" - when it's a combustion.
Not everybody reads every single thread, so how in the name of whatever gods you believe in or deny is he supposed to know from topic titles that there's the slightest shred of a link between what he's found and an incorrectly labelled thread.

I'm highly disappointed.

Ok, heres how he did it... My friend made a potato cannon exactly like this.

The thing he turns is a mantle lighter, when you twist the knob, a large spark flys out of a wire.
He put hair spray, along with compressed air into the air chamber ( tank ) and since hair spray / deo spray is highly flammable, it will ignite, sending pressure to the trigger valve.

As the pressure goes out through the barrel, it will propel the bullet, with higher speeds than a peunmatic cannon.

Happy? :)

Um... no. You've just sprouted a load of piffle relating to hybrids, which this isn't.

Also, the majority of hybrids do not use a spray fuel, they use (mostly) propane fuelled. One done with a spray is very rare, because it's much less predictable and powerful than doing it properly.

As a word of advice, we do know a lot on these forums - trying to re-explain the hybrid does not need to be done.

Well maybe it is a piston hybrid with a fuel chamber that is fueled manometricly that feeds into the smaller fireing chamber allowing it to have multiple shots.
You can tell how awesome a cannon is by the pressure used.

THIS HAS ALREADY BEEN SOLVED

if you saw the thread I made, (coincedentaly about 2 hours before this one started) we realised already that the larger tank hold a compressed mix of air and butane, then that feds from a small tube through the blowgun into the smaller chamber, where it is NOT pressurized.

Then a bullet is loaded into the chamber, fired, then the cycle repeats

STOP MAKING SPECULATIONS we know already.

Sorry, but this was solved long ago, and then pieface or whatever kicked it up, and its just frustrating hearing people go on, when they could very easily have just looked at the responses and figured it out...
