Decided to join so I cpuld share my BBMG (PICS)

I build decent quality BBMGs which has been promoted out of the endless PVC contraptions more commonly seen; yuck. I do use a little PVC, however. This particular gun is one which I threw together - built two for about 40 bucks. Built one for myself and one for my supervisor last fall. They run on shop air, HPA,or Co2. I prefer the Kobalt (spelling?) Co2 regulator for it. I do have a tripod for mine, supervisor will have to make his a stand alone. Also, mine has an actual adjustable rear sight instead of the V notch.

last year I sold a three barrel mini gun gun that shoots airsoft BBs for six hundred and some change on the Bay (!) that was of REAL quality unlike the one I'm posting here. It is a totally self contained unit using a vortex block. It also utilized a 3.6cfm high flow air horn mini compressor along with a mini tank and solenoid valve with a Power Wheels 12 volt battery (smile) (six thousand round cap). The barrel carriage spins via a window lift motor unit. Rather neat. I will have to did up pics for you guys (new computer - old is gone).

At any rate, this gun is a [crude] version of an M1919A gun. Very simple and straight mechanical - no electrical (although I have one in the 'shop' that will have a solenoid valve to operate it too like the mini). Okay, here are some pics. Shoots about 40 rounds a second at an average of 609fps. The best vortex figures I have ever seen.

Included is a machine pistol/carbine I threw together a few years back. It is made out of a Brass Eagle Stingray paintball gun internals; kingman grip; some aluminum L channel; airsoft magazine. It does not airsoft BBs - it shoots 1/4 inch steel or lead shot. It will empty all 170 rounds under ten seconds. Shoots, on a hot day, 550fps range. Remember, that is 550fps of 31 grain ammo, folks.

I actually sold a few parts to one of those training guns. They also ran off a 6 to 12v power supply to make the firing mechanism function. They used a valve/feed system similar to the carnival guns, but with the addition of electricity. The carnival guns use air to do the same work. I have posted pics over on the bbmachingun forum in times past. Since I'm not in to the Drozd at all I've kinda' moved along from there. My user was/is "miltecarms" for those of you that frequent.

The tube on top of that training gun is the BB hopper for those of you curious.

Is that an old ammo box? lol I was just looking at yours and I was wondering about how to make a square box as I've been having a simular idea, then I thought of an ammo box then I went.. haha oh.

Yeah, I had originally posted the carbine on bbmachinegun.com along with some build pics of how it was constructed. Pretty easy to do. When the tank is attached it acts as the stock.

The M1919 gun does use an ammo box - a 30cal box. there are some ammo boxes a little bigger and a little smaller.

My main forum site is the Crosman forum, as I build and modify Crosman air rifles and such.

There are so many paint guns and air rifles out there that reverse engineering can go a long way. Many manufacturers have links for schematic databases - a tinker-type person's dream.

The carbine needs new seals - she has been sitting for a long while and leaks, well, spews Co2 now. The M1919 I will get back from a gun shop, on loan, so I can make some sort of video. You will notice that mine is a little bit nicer than the one pictured (pictured gun is my supervisors).

I design the vortex blocks to have adjustable ROF, anywhere from 30 to 60 BBs a second. The chambers are o-ringed, rebuildable, and really quite sound. I've ran 350psi through with no issues. Chambers are sch. 80 PVC 2" 90, or elbow.

Yes, looks very profesional although a nice can of silver spray paint would be nice to touch it up and make it look rugged and worn in. Im guessing you store the co2 or hpa cylinder within the main body?

This particular BBMG uses a shop air setup primarily. On the bottom of the can, forward of the tripod saddle, there is a fitting on the bottom to hook into (1/4 quick connect male). When I hook up the Kobalt Co2 reg it mounts to the left side of the can. Inside it uses regular items to make a vortex BB gun. Instead of brake line as a barrel I use brass tube that is a bit tighter I.D. - makes for far better performance.

Decided to just shoot it with flat black paint. My BBMG has aluminum support tubes attached to the can and barrel shroud since it is 4 inches longer along with an adjustable rear sight windage and elevation. I will get it back in the next few days and take some pics of it to post. The one pictured was given to my supervisor.

HA,HA,HA,HA yes indeed I was very excited to see that modified Paintball gun on the BB Machinegun Owners Group( was a good site once but pretty much dead these days). There were some great guns on that site, one guy had an odd BBMG ( Tabletop was his name or something like that?) where it used like a steam engine set up, moving piston thingee?. I never really understood how it worked but was made to look just like a Tommy Gun, I think someone put a pic up of it on here recently?.

Yeah, I did a video of the BB carbine some years ago now. It was posted via photobucket and since has been removed. I'll dig it out and put new seals in it sometime and do another video. I'll do one of the M1919A BBMG too. I have to get it back from a gun shop first - on loan to a friend who hates cans (for those of you familiar of the movie "The Jerk" starring Steve Martin).
