lol so there were 4 wires
I assume that you did it the other way round..
most likely you've got to connect purple to black...
though, you should remove the plastic cover and find out for yourself to be sure... you should find there something similar to what MrCrowley found on his
once you check that and you can tell for sure which wires you should join you should know what to do...
tryiong to draw a diagram as dewey suggested also would be a good idea
green&yellow is almost always groundblack blue green/yellow and purple
the blue is hot and black is nutale i dont know what to do with the earth or purple
I assume that you did it the other way round..
this suggest that blue & purple are hot and neutral... you shouldn't connect them as that shorts the circuitblue and purple and my house circuit breaker cut out

that's what I thought...
blue is probably NEUTRAL
brown/red is HOT
green/yellow is GROUND
you've got to put an on/off switch between RED and BLACK wire in that cable
once the two are connected the circuit is closed and the compressor should start
also you can also use BLUE and RED from that cable to power a fan if you want to... though keep in mind that 220V AC so you need a fan like that too
if you don't need it now just make sure the other wires are insulated (so they don't touch each other)
if it doesn't work then either something is wrong with the wiring (not likely) or one of the relays is broken or the compressor itself is broken
EDIT

heh heh I knew it...my dad cracked the shits at me when the breaker cut out
joining the red and blue wire together (hot and neutral) is the same as if you put both ends of a hair clip or both ends of a bent wire or nail right into the socket
heh but don't worry... you're not the first.. I have done it too
lol just another example showing that it can be dangerous

The compressor is a gorenje model PW 5.5K11 running on 220vac 50hz and had R12 as the Freon type.-_- wrote: i took new pics and made a diagram

I do not see a start/run cap anywhere? Where is it?
Do you know what brand the refrigerator was?
My best guess would be to connect the violet to black of the 4 conductor cable. This would act like the thermostat switch.
Can you get a better picture of the "box" wiring? Better focus or better camera.
The 3-conductor grey cable was the original power plug correct?
My best guess is to connect the black and violet together. This would simulate the thermostat switch. You could use a switch between those wires for On-Off control.

awwwww yeah i got it to work it was the purple and brown wire il get pics up when i put the swich and a nice box for it.
i got 1/2 inch compression fitting and just layered hose on the pipe till it fit tight and i cant pull it off with the fridge camped down and winch the to the compression fitting, snapped 600 pound rope before the fitting moved
start/run cap is the copper thing in the pic img_0058 its behind the wire
thanks for all the help guys really really appreciate it.
edit: is a 240v 15 amp swich good for this or will it blow out

sure...is a 240v 15 amp switch good for this or will it blow out
hmm I can't even find them in the diagram... are you sure about it, I'd say it's almost certain that you had to connect the red/brown wire to black one ??was the purple and brown wire

yea its is purple/brown to the black my mistake
and holy crap it has low flow took like 7 min to fill 1l FE to 90 psi.
i put 90psi in the input it zoomed to 180 in 5 sec i need a 350+ gage ill look at a welding shop for it
i blow up coke bottles today well three 2l bottles they pop at 140-150
1.25l ones blow at 160-165, ill get some 500ml ones tomoz
i need a fan for it too got hot in 7min solid run, ill try make a alu heat sink, would it work if i make a bunch of U shaped bits and bolt it to a round plate bent to fit the compressor and is perforated aluminum sheet good for it or only flat sheet.

you must have some leaks then... normally it's almost 10 times thatand holy crap it has low flow took like 7 min to fill 1l FE to 90 psi
heh I tested something like that...heat sink.jpg
somehow it didn't help much, probably becasue I glued them to the casing

yer i do have leaks but when i kink the hose it go to 180 super fast but the hose in 1mm id fan out of PTFE ill fix it tomorrow, surprisingly lock tight didn't work.
i was thinking of using magnets like magnet heat sink steal case of fridge
i have 4 neodymium magnets that let go at 300g each, would they fuk with the motor?
dam gages cost lots
side note: WHERE THE F@#K IS MY QEV i ordered it 2 weeks ago ill call up in the mornig
edit: added switch and put a gage and hose tho i need a 350+ gage im going to get one soon.
i filled my gun to 180 and it exploded my cpvc barrel and scared the shit out of me i put a nice 25mm id chrome steel barrel on it. and it a lot louder at 180 than 120
