Here is a little 2.20 minute video I put together .

I had not built anything related for the past 15 yrs, but as soon as I found out about the Cam and groove couplers I just had to build another.

Also finding out about the $17 WalMart Electric ignitors that takes the AA, batteries helped as well.

This ones a little better quality, but may take longer to download.

Very nicely put together, though the soundtrack is a little pornesque at first  :D

Looks like polymorph with a fair bit of effort smoothing out the surface.

Both my cannons have grips made of it.

Ya I know, I just can't make a video without having some some kind of music.

Everything in the pic is just ABS pipe and fittings. I molded everything you see using Duracoat, and sprayed it with the Krylon Camo Ultra flat.
I would have loved to have molded the whole thing, but I wanted to be able to swap couplings on and off of it. I also wanted the end cap( Ignitor ) to be able to go from one project to the next as well.

Just did another barrel for it this morning that's 2" diameter by 10" long (31.4 CI ) that houses the nerf pocket vortex. Without adding onto it's 10.98 CI chamber I am getting 60-70 yards out of it. The whole thing is very compact at 20" long.
I'm gonna have to add another coupler to the chamber and see how much further I can get the little vortex .

If you look at the video, it's the first thing in it. It takes a single AA battery and I have yet to run that battery down. Probably have zapped it 4K times by now, and it's still going strong.
Look in the BBQ area next to the Push button ignitors. Walmart sells them for $18 with a battery included http://www.walmart.com/ip/Electric-Igni ... ku=8587363 . the same thing sells for $29 at Homedepot ( Strange usually they are very competitive with everyone else).
I can honestly say I would NEVER go back to the push button after I bought this. It's probably a higher level of upgrade as going from the Lantern flick ignitors to the push buttons.

Those electonic igniters are extremely nifty, but it would be great if they weren't completely potted so that you could remove the battery holder, casing, etc, and hide it away in a handle or project box...

To relocate the button would be simple, and you could choose whatever momentary button you wanted also. The housing it comes in is convenient however for the battery.
