It is not a pressure regulator.

If the cylinder is aluminum I am not sure if it can be brazed. By brazing I mean using a torch to melt brass in to the joint.

Oh well it is alluminum. I think If I can find a 3/4 tap then I'll tap over the threads and use some JB Weld too.

When I modded my fire extinguisher put a 3/4 copper coupler in the threads then with a short length of normal copper brazed in it. Next a ghetto threaded a 1/2" brass nipple into the copper applied JB weld and screwed it into my QEV. It has held 150 PSI without leaks.

i have a 1l FE that i use for a tank its a steel one but the threads are just a bit bigger than 1/2 inch, so i welded a 1/2 galvanized iron nipple on then vacuumed the chamber and put epoxy on the weld to suck it in i have put it up to 350psi for 2 hr it drop to 320psi,

edit: its a dry chem type

I saw that thread, it makes no sense.
Too hard to understand the pictures

-_-, I'm pretty sure it is close to 3/4, I haven't taken the top off but I know for sure its bigger than 1/2.
