you can get argon regulators from welding shops its the same thing just screw it on to a co2 bottle you an buy from bunnings.

idk if it has the same threads as a co2 bottle.

With a sealed detent mechanism as used here, all you'd need is a simple ball valve. Something like what I tried to do here cutting out the dodgy inflator valve.

I'm not sure I follow how Australia has such stringent rules and yet there is a "Paintball Australia".
I don't see how it would be difficult to make a co2 pistol from readily available parts without having to get carried away with machining.
There's pin valves for only a few dollars and presumably a 12 gram adapter could be purchased?

Ok, I have been working on co2 guns for the past year, and I believe I have found all the best parts for a 6mm BB gun.

First you need a nice barrel that fits 6mm bbs really well. Fortunately for you, Easton X7 eclipse arrow shaft is Very good as a 6mm barrel, I know, because I have 6mm bbs and X7 eclipse shaft and literally blowing into the end liung-powered will fire a bb pretty hard (I'd say an 8 on the pain-scale).

http://urbanarchery.com.au/product_info ... ucts_id=32

you need size 1614.

2. Now you need bbs. I have imported these with no problems. TELL THEM TO MARK THE PACKAGE AS SLINGSHOT AMMO. This is a legal loophole that allows importing of bb pellets as long as they are for slingshots and not guns.

3. Good co2 bike pump reg that doesnt freeze shut and doesn't leak.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Genuine-Innovati ... _500wt_721

4. You need cheap co2 canisters because most canisters are a goddam ripoff.

http://finewhip.com.au/

You can get co2 from there for half price or less than normal.

Look no further than this stuff because it is the best we will ever do short of smuggling illegal goods into the country.

I've got a bunch of designs for internals and magazines and stuff too if you're interested.

I was thinking the same thing the other day!!, using a Pin Valve but then have to figure out how to utilise a hammer valve for it and keep it small enough for a pistol?.

the 12 gram adaptor is an item I really need but we cant buy these in Australia nor import them so something would have to scrap built.

Lozz08= nice find on the co2 stockist, I'll be using that! :D and yeh I welcome any ideas/design plans you have on making a co2 pistol.

Jack= the Design with the Ball Valve, the pistol would be too big! and waste too much co2 using a Ball Valve

Well you see, you can play paintball, and if you own a gun licence you can buy a marker, however, where i live you have to leave it at the paintball place. You cant take it home.... You may as well pay the $20 to get a gun on the day :/

Hi everyone.

Thanks for all the info and encouragment. Iv been sketching up a true scale of my internal mechinism, and i think i have a fairly good idea coming along. Im excited too get it all planed and drawn up, then i'll post it for you guys. I had to change my design around to allow for the internals.

Thanks
Tyronne

How do you plan to feed this gun semi-automatically?
