sprinkler valves are still nothing to screw with, I've put a C-Battery through solid wooden fence with a sprinkler valve. Compact pistons usually don't use bumpers, and my tutorial won't even have a bumper. There will be virtually nothing to screw up, and if they do; the valve probably won't even work

Much of the piston theory is in the Wiki along with some examples. The Wiki gives theory and how it works. The shop skills are up to the builder to design their own size and style.

I don't understand what is wrong, this is a forum, so why can't he build a piston valve and post a detailed thread about it? So what if young children see it, there is a lot worse stuff out there.... And how is a young child going to build one of these without his parents noticing? Surely they would know...

well they are very powerful types of valve, and if some dumb fuck builds one and decided to shoot a golf ball at his mate to see if he can catch it. Misses and his him in the head, he would probably die. Bad news gets on the news they look around on the net to find out how he built it and find poor old spudfiles and Lockednloaded video. Then the cops ban the vid and will try to take down spudfiles, which wont be hard with a death related to the info on this site.

also there is plenty info about piston valves, if you cant figure out how to build on from the info in the wiki and show case, you shouldn't have one.

Well, heres an idea. If anyone WANTS to know how, they must have 1 cannon built, and functioning, and they have to be over 13 years of age with some common sense. You can usually tell who is under 13 or above. Then, after the person passes, Lockednloaded can send a PM to the person with a how to in the pm. Sound good?

When I did a how to, I just did it in the How To forum. If it is good, it may get a sticky. Mine is not a how to build a launcher or an entire valve. It is just how to build a piston. If it is a good build, go for it.

The how to database is here;

I think it would be a good idea, my how to make a 2" (really 1.5" porting) piston sticky is way out of date.

I made a very simple 2" tee valve recently, so if anyone wants some close up pics and a short tutorial, PM me about it

There are already plenty of how-to guides on YouTube or this forum. Go look for them. We will not spoonfeed you here.

By the way, read the rules and don't kick up old topics.
