I was going to tell Tech to calm down about safety and holding it correctly... until I saw the kick on that.
Holy crap, if it's really kicking that much, you do need to come up with a more secure way to hold it or pad the back and set it against your shoulder or hip. Even to me, that looks seriously unsafe, even just from the recoil.

Not really laughable, but sure. I'd be more concerned by the fact that you were injured by the recoil than anything else.
I'll admit, that's all pretty BAMF, but really... safety...
