Why? I'm not sure how big your cannon is, but this seems a little paranoid. Even 6" SCH 40 is rated to 180 psi. The pressure on PVC is a working pressure, so it can withstand that all the time, even tho it only has to hold it once in a while. Not to mention the fact that there is already a factor of safety of at least 3 or 4 above the rating on the pipe. Its a shame your afraid to use the extra power. Its well worth itrmich732 wrote:Man, I am afraid to take my cannons above 80 PSI (and they are all pressure-rated)!
My <a href="http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtop ... >cannon</a> is right here; I posted about it on page 3 of this topicDonTheLegend wrote:Why? A little late for the off topic question isn't it. My compliments on your cannon, i didn't realize that was yours. Very clean. I'm still not sure why you won't take it past 80 psi though. Even with an additional factor of safety of 2 you could take it to 90 psi, and the 4" fittings are rated even higher.
