I built a pneumatic cannon I call "BIG NASTY".It's about 12' long, the barrel is 10' long 3" sch40 pvc.It can shoot 20 oz coke bottles frozen about 500 yards. At 20 yards it can shoot a frozen or thawed coke bottle on its side through 3 sheets of 5/8" plywood. At 10 yards it can shoot a 20 oz coke bottle on its side through 4 sheets of 5/8" plywood. I used 3" irrigation valves and 3072 cubic inches of air at 120 psi.

C'mon, Dont post here untill you have pictures. Its unessisary (Spellcheck needed) and makes us wonder if you have even built the gun.

Oh and:
I used 3" irrigation valves and 3072 cubic inches of air for propellant.

Propelent??? If its a pneumatic you Need air, Not propelent.

All you dickheads shut up. You were an ass to him before he put up pictures, and after he put up the pictues. He has just posted one of the most powerful guns I have ever seen and you have done nothing but bring him down. I haven't seen anything remotely good from ANY of you. So shut the fuck up. All of you.

As for Adam, VERY sweet job man. I see you went as far as using cam locks and you rigged up a sweet pilot sytem. Great find on those huge valves. Though you did use DWV fittings which aren't intended for this pressure, I assure you that it is fine. I have never had that problem. Just don't use DWV for making piston assemblies.

Once again, incredible job there dude. And welcome to the forums! Very welcome.
