Hey guys, I'm having a real problem on finding a motorcycle... I'm in a need of a dualsport motorcycle and only one I reach to drive is Suzuki DR 650 SE, and it seems to be a real PITA on finding one from Finland...
So is there any European who could help me a bit? People here get a lot of motorcycles from Germany and Ducthland, so If someone could check their local motorcycle selling websites etc. for DRs from the 2000s, and PM me a link or something... Would appreciate it ALOT
Damn global warming, winter is pretty much done here... Ohwell more time for biking

Nothing special really. Just my first flight with an on board cam.
If you're thinking about buying an RC plane DO get one - it's well worth the price.

Just recording... hopefully I'll upgrade to FPV withing a couple of months - that'll set me back about 200 euro plus time for testing and setting up

No such plans at this stage. I was going to switch to FPV eventually as that seems a logical step, but now that I got some FPV footage I am amazed. This type of flying feels a lot more natural to me and like 10 times more fun.
First I have to figure out what frequency use (900mhz offers best range but is kind of hard to get (and AFAIK is legal only in the USA, not EU)). Then I have to decide what's the best method: goggles or and LCD screen/possibly a laptop with a USB video grabber aaaand figure out what's cheaper and better in the long run. All options have their own advantages and disadvantages so I guess I have to do some extensive research first.
If anyone has some experience in FPV feel free to post details of your setup & your opinion about it

Talking about nightmares has anyone ever experienced Sleep Paralysis?
According to the definition in Wikipedia: "Sleep paralysis is a phenomenon in which people, either when falling asleep or wakening, temporarily experience an inability to move (being paralyzed). More formally, it is a transition state between wakefulness and rest characterized by complete muscle atonia (muscle weakness). It can occur at sleep onset or upon awakening, and it is often associated with terrifying visions (e.g. an intruder in the room), to which one is unable to react due to paralysis." In Arabic Culture, sleep paralysis is often referred to as 'Ja-thoom' (Arabic: جاثوم), literally "What sits heavily on something". In folklore across Arab countries, the 'Ja-thoom' is believed to be a shayṭān or a ‘ifrīt sitting on top of the person or is also choking him.
A camera fitted to an RC plane can run some reconnaissance mission in the neighborhood.

I was once follower by a guy with a large chrome revolver in a desert setting, there was a white pickup involved I turned a corner and was staring down the muzzle of this 44, I wanted to escape but couldn't, I just froze and accepted - this is how I die.
Then I woke up. The mind is a weird place, since it is a capable of conjuring up such amazing scenarios I don't know why we bother with real life.
Edit: Driving in Russia - because f*** you, that's why

Hmm...More time for Sf...less time for work.
Sorta funny story.
I busted my shoulder last Tuesday during bike driving lesson.
My first official lesson after an hour and a half intake lesson earlier.
I can get on the bike and ride it no problem...did some slalom's, emergency braking etc.
He even made me do a high speed slalom, while standing upright on the pedals with my left arm stretch out besides me...just one hand on the handlebars.
If I was to do this in traffic I would loose my license instantly.
Weird way to teach me how to ride..
But I pulled it off regardless..
Now:
I had to practice a slow 180 turn and was told I was not allowed to use the clutch. (????)
The instructor said I had to keep the throttle open and just use the rear brake,.
Seems ilogi
Me being mechanical-minded I explained that that would cause the engine to stall or cause me to not make the turn ( been riding shifter bikes for 22 years)
After several tries I told him I had no control this way..He said I just needed to lean in a bit more and use more gas..(What??)
So I followed his advice and sure enough the engine stalled while I was leaning into the bend.
I fell over and bruised my shoulder...wich is by now starting to act up.
After some checking I found that using the clutch during this excercise is allowed during the exams as long as you don't fully disengage...Wich means I can do it exactly the way I've been doing it for 22 years.
fell over and hurt myself for no good reason...??
