I'm thinking about making a cannon with dual back pack reservoirs. The cannon is for shooting t-shirts and I'm going to put a ball valve between the two tanks so I can do multiple launches on one load. I'm thinking about doing the reservoirs 2 feet long in 4" pvc and having the cannon routed over the shoulder. I'm thinking about loading it up to about 80 psi with a 3-foot barrel and a modded sprinkler valve to trigger it. This is only my second cannon and I hadn't ever seen anyone do a back-pack design before so I figured I'd let it out to those more experienced before I wasted a bunch of time and money on a bad design. What are your guys thoughts?
ide ask someone that has made one of these already because they now what they are doing lol i now theirs at least one on the site... ask him

I was looking at routing the pipe over the shoulder though, not using hose, and having the ball valve seperating the two tanks. My two main concerns are that the recoil might stress the pipe or that the ball valve idea won't work.

I guess i should have pointed out that Gorts is a combustion cannon. Yea it would be hard to work the ball valve behind your back, of couse a modded sprinkler valve would work.
