Frusterated!
Hey all! Love this site. I saw a video posted on a thread of a piston valve dry firing. The camera was able to see the rubber of the piston pushing out, so it was an exposed view. I have searched forever now, but cannot find it for the life of me! Thanks alot!

Sorry, I was simply wondering if anyone could point me to the video on this forum that I mentioned. The search function is not working for it, and I stumbled on the video late at night and can't find it now. Basically, does anyone have an exposed-view video of a piston valve dry firing? If you posted to the video thread your looking for, go to your profile, click on the see all the post you written, that will take yo7u to7 a list and it will be there. Is that a ball valve i6nbetween the sprinkler valve and barrel?

Jedwards: Yes, it works really really well.
jrrdw: The ball valve was put there because we didn't know if the sprinkler valve needed to have back pressure to pressurize. I now only use it if I want to make sure it does not leak over a long period of time (this has another secret use, client said I can't tell until later).
This was my first gun, made it before I knew about this great site. The cannon cost me $40 to make, but cost me $310 in damages, I will tell that story later!

Very fine indeed! Today it snowed in the northwest where I live, which is pretty rare, and I had the worlds greatest snowball fight. Mind you, I just packed loose snow in the barrell as I did not want the cannon to cost me any more in friend damages! I stopped after about 10 minutes cause the PVC was getting cold and I would like to keep my fingers intact. No PVC rupture here!
