dude shut up all i do is play games online and go to this site and look at ideas for spud guns. i have on pc and havent touched it in like 2 years THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!. macs might be a little more expensive but its worth it they com with awesome editing software for making movies and slide shows. and all their software is cheaper and it loads 60000x faster than a stupid pc. and have you ever noticed that in spud gun videos if they shoot a potato at a computer its always a pc and not a mac. :D hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!! thats because they need a mac and not a virus-filled pc.

Hmm, I was unaware of that situation. I wonder what possessed those cops to think that it was unnecessary to protect women from knife wielding assailants.

EDIT: I'm not talking about online games. Tell me, can you play Half Life 2 on a mac? Nope, not last time I checked. Like other people have said, they both have advantages.

They don't do that, freakin conspiracy theorists. Besides, they aren't that expensive. I spent about 600 on mine. 3.3 gig processor, 512 RAM, 160 gig hard drive, 17-inch monitor, DVD-multi writer, all-in one memory card readers, the necessary peripherals, and a printer. Then upgraded my graphicsa card to a 128 nvidia.

Well, at the moment, it's not very portable. Mainly because I have so many peripherals hooked up to it. That's what my laptop is for. It's a Compaq.

None of my peripherals are to make it faster. :| I've got a couple printers, a reader for the extreme III card for my Rebel XT, router, small sound system, joystick, mic, camera. The only add-on for speed is my 128 nvidia sos I can plaay half-life 2 and some other stuff. I'm gonna be gettin a scanner for it pretty soon too. My PC isn't made to move, it's made to be a workstation.

I'm pretty sure the half life games are pc only. I could be wrong though. If I had a high-end pc that stuff would be built in as well. But I'm a poor college boy and have to buy in pieces.

and with a mac you dont need peripherals unless your doing something like running a business. so you have mor invested into your computer than the whole price of my computer. cause do the math 600+1600+ all the other stuff = probably 2800 so ha i could by my self a new computer and a brand new dirtbike with that much money. :D so macs are cheaperand for $80 i can buy a software thingy and upgrade my memory from a 32 bit to a 64 bit hard drive.so if you round that thats only 1700 compared to 2800 or more. and you said your a college student my brother goes to illinois state hes a college student and he has a mac that hasnt been updated once and it works great for him.

No no no. About 600 for the computer, and about 600 for all my devices. And I need my peripherals. Printing, capturing video, audio. I don't understaand when you say a mac doesnt need these things. Do things just materialize when you print?
