Well I'm planning on trying to make a bb rifle that will try and look just like a rifle and not show any of the pnuematic parts. I want to try and hide a qev and a chamber inside the stock. I'll probably make it out of copper and brass. I would like to be able to use one of those tire inflater 12 gram c02 adapters to use that to pressurize the gun so it can be portable. I drew up a quick picture so you guys could give me suggestions or any possible problems. And how do you think the performance would be pressurized to over 50 psi and with a barrel around 3 feet? Would brakeline be good enought or should I get something thats better fitting?
This is the qev I was thinking of using

I've never really done this sort of thing, but you sound like youve got the right idea and dont really need any help. On account of your barrel length, what size bb are you shootin' man? Lol, heck most 30.06 rifles dont even have 3 foot barrels. Just givin' you a hard time, but if your just shooting like .177 or .22 pellets or BBs something much shorter shoul be fine. Good luck.

It would be cool if you could hide the schreader(sp?) and check valve inside that mag thingy. also you could try and use a breach like this http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/wasp-mk2-t77.html
and some magnets lto keep the bbs in place

.177 BB's so it will probably be atleast over 2 feet and I was planning to have the c02 thingy either hidden in the stock or in a mag just like you guys said and yes I should defenetly put a breech/magazine thing. The only problem I can think of is finding room for the qev and the chamber. I guess I could make the chamer like 3/4" copper and maybe make it like 10" long atleast but do you think that will be big enough?
I just looked up how much c02 I would need to fill a 3/4" chamber 10" long to 120psi and it says it would only need .037 ounces of c02 which is about 1 gram of c02 so I don't need to fill it to 120 psi probably so I could probably get 20 fills out of one tank, Or just use the air compressor.

it would be tough to regulate the CO2 without a paitnball 12g reg, something i have always wanted to do was regulate a 20 oz down to like 140psi and make a realistic looking cloud, you could get full auto for like 3 straight minutes on one regulated CO2 tank
in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08

Why would I need to regulate it? The pressure isn't too high for the chamber. The tire inflator comes with a button that you just press to release pressure a good tap should be fine I just have to find a way to make it so I can tap the button from the outside.

what kind of co2 tank are you talking about? 20 shots, you can set it up to use both compresor or co2 just think about the day you cant use your gun because your out of co2.
the qev can be put in the reciver, just mke this gun have a larger reciver
and it dosn't take much of a chammber or valve to propel a bb really fast
heres a setup that should work to get the qev somewhat in the handle

dude get a 1/8 qev and believe me they arew small as hell it wont be hard to hide... but anyway why wouldnt u fill it to 120 psi? i would think that if u want a sniper u would want it to be shooting hard.. the real bb rifles shoot at like 3000 psi, athoguh it isnt all at once it stil lgoes 100+ fps

Yeah I said that I had planned to use c02 and be able to hook it up to my air compressor. I'm just gonna use 12 gram c02 cartriges which according to BC's formula should fill a 10" long 3/4" chamber to 120psi using 1.4 grams of C02. I would rather not have to load one bb into the barrel each time so I have to find some way to have a loader. I know BB rifles use a magnet that you just pull into the chamber of BB's and it just grabs one but I'm not sure if thats the way I should do it or not. Any ideas?

u may want to design a spring loaded clip into it to make it look like a handle like a ak 47

I was just saying that I could have it shoot at less than 120psi if I wanted the c02 to last for more shots. Look at the link on the first post there is a 1/8" qev that looks very small and is pretty cheap. I was planning on using that one. I think it may be a little hard to make a spring loaded clip that loads a .177" bb lol. I may just stick with a breach loader to load them 1 by 1 for now until I think of something better.

Hey, its me the barrel man again. I was just looking at .177 cal bb guns in reference to this topic and found most to have a barrel length between 20.50 and 20.85 inches. So were you panning to just take a bb rifle barrel or what? Anyways, good luck. Spud
