Amen to that brother, barrel sealing coaxials forever!

:D

edit: what pressure are you using? that setup looks like it could easily take 300 psi+, I recommend you invest in a shock pump to fullfill your design´s performance potential.

I have pumped my small copper gun up to 300 plus with my homemade high pressure pump but I admit that I am just slightly nervous about the blowgun at that pressure. Particularly since the gun forms the handle of the pump and the regular handle forms the footrest.
I can actually vent it with a schrader so I think I'll hook up a trigger to depress the valve stem instead. They are rated far higher.
edit: It doesn't actually fill through the schrader as well. I'm not going to take apart a trigger system every time I want to fill it. :)

IIRC schrader valves are good for 900 psi. So far I've only ever used schrader valves to actuate my exhaust valve designs, up to the 1 inch piston in my 3/4" cal launcher.

I draw my diagrams with a black pen on paper, scan them as lineart and then tart them up with paintbrush.

That cannon is pretty sweet. I think the main reason I like it is because it looks almost exactly like a paintball marker. :P Keep up the good work!

I also have a couple of soda stream C02 but do you need a retarder or something to make it less strong?? Or can i just hook it up with some Orings and screw on? (Sounds a bit dodgy!)

i got one aswell man, if its got co2 in it dont f*ck with it. if its empty get some fittings and thread sealant and bolt it on, thos things are rated pretty high

welcome to spudfiles btw.

EDIT: for the above post; those blowguns have been used at excess of 400psi.
