Well Im not sure if youve noticed but Im going through a period of trying to build miniature fully operational gund based on real ones. So far I have done a Smith And Wesson Revolver named the noisy cricket (from men in black), a replica of my old Weirauch HW-95 rifle named simply mini sniper rifle, a mini mortar (kinda  ) and now the Thompson Drum. (My next project Im working on is an Uzi).

Well a few nights I just couldnt get to sleep, you no what its like. So I started to carve a tiny stock and 2 handles from a pice of random wood under my bed. Soon it turned out pretty well and whilst going through our bar I found one of those big cardboard tubes with the metal ends with whiskey bottles in. And the thompson was born.

It gives quite a kick and is a hell load of fun to shoot. Only problem is the thompson silencers/extenders are so hard to make, especially that small. So when it goes off not only do I know it every one in our block does.

Ill try to upload a video tomorow. I live in Aus and its 1:00 in the morning so Im going to bed! I use propane or cologne both good but propanes a b*#?h to get right and the cologne leaves an oily residue which causes it to jam. It is pretty loud and when you have it in the normal stance (standing) It scares the hell out of you and kicks back. The stock actually was really easy. The hard thing was the front handle! Thanks :D .

I have one similar to that in home, but mine can fire up to 3 balls for sekond. The combustion chamber is 150ml.I put about 20ml alkohol. And continius float of air from 3 bottles each of 2,5L, prasher about 3 atmnosfears. In tempreture above 10 degries C it won't jam.The bottles bekame empty in about 30 shots.

If you made a fully automatic combustion, I want to see this, because NO on has ever done that.

How the hell is that possible. I would love to make the thompson fully auto, you know proper mafiosso! Is there anything that needs to be done to the thompson to make it better like accesories or addons. Any idea for the thompson style silencer? Thanks.

Because of the constant flow of air (and the metanol dont nead to be in the perfect ratio), the mixigure is refreshed and ignited 2-3 times in sekond. The air must come in thin tube or the all theng will went on fire.

ok rambo, you keep saying you fuel with alkohol, in several of your post. in your last post here you used the mention of methenol, this leeds me to beleave your talking about the pink fuel used in glow engines rc models use, also some race cars. i know a little about it cause i got 3 quarts in my shop rite now, i'm a rc modeler, this stuf asorbes water at such a rate u would have trouble getting it lit by the time you got your chamber closed up, not to metion if it did lite the amount of smoke it gives off is just to much to be indoors, a plastic pill bottle would never contain the concushion if you did get it lit, this stuff burns at a massive rate at that, so whats up doc ??? just wondering if where thinking/talking about the same thing ?

jrrdw the stuff you are thinking of is nitromethane, which is used in model cars. what he is talking about is methl alchohal similar to isipropl alchohal which isnot the same thing as nitromethane. me and a friend lit some nitromethane and it was sick it burned whitish purple and was sick cuz it was night

Sure! If you want to upload a topic just go the the forum area you want to upload it at and click 'new topic'. If you do not have a camera dont worry but do you think you can upload a diagram somewhere? If it is easy I really want to make one. Thanks!

That little thing looks awsome,is it still usable now or was it taken apart? You could get a little laser pointer and make it a tiny sniper.
