hi this is my idea
say you get an old break barrel Air Rifle ( where you cock it ) that doesnt work/ dont want anymore and some how thread the end of the barrel so you could screw it into your valve on a ordinary pneumatic spud gun. would this increase the performance of the gun or not.
What do you think?
Idea, will it be worth it

i think its a great idea.
it would increase the profomance. you could even aim it if you had sights

thanks but i wont be able to try this idea for myself because i dont have an airrifle and i cant get one because i dont have a licence and becuase of the stupid laws here so if sommone else could try it that would be great.

Well it's a pretty good idea, I just think that, depending on the gun, it might be hard to thread the barrel. But so long as you can make that part work it should work like a charm.

about the barrel threading... i never have actually threaded a barrel but i have added a threaded fitting to one (same effect just simpler). in general the barrels i have dealt with are an odd outside diameter and i have a very limited set of taps so what i do is buy a brass 1/4" to 1/8" bushing and bore out the inner threads so i can slide the barrel through it. then i would super glue the barrel in place.
heres a picture of what im talking about, the barrel could not have been threaded in this case because it was made of 1mmm thick aluminum

Thats a Nice idea although i would have to use a bigger adapter since air rifle barrels are like mabye around 1/2" or 3/4"ish OD.
Just reminding anybody who reads this i probably wont be able to do this so i would like somone else to try it for me.
