Right or wrong, no one can prove that God does or doesn't exist, so we might as well accept each others' beliefs, and move on. No one will change their opinion because of what some guy on the Internet said, especially on a topic which can't be proven or disproven. Some parts of each side can be shown to be true, but both sides also have holes which have not yet been explained.
Just for the record, I don't think that a truly religious person would try to logically prove the existence of God to a non-believer, since one would have to admit that the essence of religious belief is faith, and someone with real faith wouldn't need to look for proof of their God. All the proof that a truly religious person needs is written in the Bible.

I know that the Bible was compiled from mostly embellished stories long after Jesus died, and there is very little of it that I actually believe due to that fact and many others. You seem to have mistaken me for a Christian? I was merely pointing out the way that a believer would see it. Personally, I am an atheist, and I would appreciate it if no one tries to convert me, because they will fail miserably.

I resent that remark quite a lot. I'm sensible enough to stay out of this argument, I know that I'm not going to change anyone's mind by arguing over the internet. You should stay away from stereotypes and insults, they'll gain you no honor.

Oh, well that's always a relief to hear, but we wouldn't want them to declare holy war on us infidels, and it seems to me that this argument only worsens and becomes even less logical and sensible every time someone insults someone else for their beliefs. Look at the Middle East...

I find it amazing that this thread has veered onto the topic of religion at least three times, and has still not been shut down.
Turbohacker, I don't think that "Things that piss you off" has a whole lot to do with spudguns either, but this thread has had over 800 posts, and still exists.

All right I know what will get us off the religion thread. Go to the theopia,I guarantee someone will argue you until you're blue.

Michael Moore is my problem.Tell me how a morbidly obese man has any say about health care.The fatso can't even take care of his own body,let alone tell other people how they should treat me and my family.

And to top it all off he goes to Cuba to say how good of health care they have?Last time I checked their people were still floating on whatever junk they can to get to US soil.If health care was so good why are they begging us to take them in?And yet another bit of info.Why then are other countries(and independent US citizens)going to Cuba to set up clinics? I thought they were a medical paradise,albeit barely off of third world status.

Something just doesn't ring true.But we all know any of Michael Moore's works are purely political.It was never about helping anyone out,its all about him, his view,and getting that agenda law.

Hear hear! The fat lard. It's cool and all to have an opinion, but don't be that guy. So he's being investigated for his recent movie sicko. There's a trade embargo, or whatever it is with Cuba. You can't do any kind of business with them, cause they're friggin commies. He complains about being investigated. Well idiot, everyone knows about the trade restrictions and you go and do it anyway. Not only that, you make a movie about it. What did you expect retard? You did something against the law, and then announced it to everyone in the country, idiot.
