You wouldn't have to use square pipe, you could just use some small diameter pvc pipe, with an elbow that leads into the vortex block. You would just have to make sure that the diameter of the pipe is close to the diameter of the vortex hole.lukemc wrote:i doubt it. the pipe is very uncomonpotatoflinger wrote:That is truly amazing, now everyone will start making side strafers!

or you could make it in the base of a 3/4th inch T. you wouldnt event have to make vortex block just drill 2 holes in the bottem of a tee and your almost done

noname, what will we do with you? Youve introduced so many new things into the world of BBMGs that it's not even funny. If only there was an occupation in which yo could put your rapid fire visionary mind to work...
Summer Projects:
CO2 tank hybrid: Gotta fix the meter
Cane gun: Needs a pilot/fill setup
1.5" piston valve gun: Almost done

B-E-A-Utiful!!!
Do you have any ideas for a gun body?
I think you should make two of these and build them both into one gun with one LARGE trigger That would be a s**tload of bb's flying out of that thing!

That was such an amazing design, I had to make my own, so I made a vortex block out of wood and used something similar to your design, and it works amazingly well, great design!
Lukemc, let me know when you find a 1" clear square T. Also, that only slightly defeats the purpose of an INLINE vortex.
Turbohacker, I don't have the budget for shooting that many BBs. After messing around with this thing for a minute or two, I was picking up BBs for half an hour. I could do it though, just get a compression T instead of an elbow, so there would be a gun on each side of the trigger in the middle.
Spudthug and Spedy, don't start waiting or you'll be waiting a looooong time. Unless you want to give me a video camera, of course.

fasinating a sidways block, I think I will try this with non inline guns, but how did you set up the cover or is the whole side open
what im saying it use a regular circular T and use the actual base of the tee as the vortex block it wouldnt be inline but it would be very easy to makenoname wrote:Lukemc, let me know when you find a 1" clear square T. Also, that only slightly defeats the purpose of an INLINE vortex.

That is an awesome piece of work, we want a video! So 150 rounds in 2 seconds... You gonna use it in games?
Oh, and Fnord, I love the thundercats avatar.

You're off by about a hundred, 250 in 2 seconds.
There's no airsoft fields locally, or I'd consider it.noname wrote: Spudthug and Spedy, don't start waiting or you'll be waiting a looooong time. Unless you want to give me a video camera, of course.
