if you cant figure out how to build it yourself you shouldnt be building cannons. please dont talk about killing animals with cannons. a small cannon like that cost me about 10 bucks, including that i had to buy more copper pipe than i needed

that sounds awesome to have in a pencil case, i still dont get the idea of how the spark jumps inside the cannon i git the concept of making it jump to the wall but how do you get the wire inside to jump to.

So all it is is a basic spud gun, sized down and made with copper?

man, some of you people that ask for plans. Honestly, are you capable of thinking? You should be able to look at most of the cannons on here, and know how to make it, at least a close copy. its not that hard, unless you dont know how something works, then either do the research on the internet, or if you are too lazy to do that, then you are too lazy to build a spud gun.
Especially for this gun, its a piece of 3/4 inch copper, with an endcap, a piece of 1/2 inch attached to that (if you cant figure out how to put em together, you definately should not be building this), a piece of wood for the handle, and a piezo for the ignitor.

First post! here goes:
i think that ill start off with a micro, very similar to this design, as i feel safer with the copper costruction, but i am not intirly sure if i understand the design. I figure that it consists of a 4 inch long chamber then a 4 inch long barrel. the chamber has a screw on cap at the back. is their an internal divide between the chamber and barrel? what have you got the igniter wires connected to and can you sugest any improvements on it? ie. longer barrel, bigger diameter chamber.
Thanx in advance

i really like the design on this one, did you just run a metal section from the large portion of the sparker right onto the side of the gun and spark off the wall?

I think that this will be total waste of good materilals if it don't use O2.With out O2, it's a crap.

Sweet you shoudt take the handle off and make it a tank for extra fuel then put it back on. It would be 10 times better that way because you could probily get 2 shots.

Cool,

How do you keep the potato or ammo from rolling down into the combustion chamber?
