well i am making a new bbmg. i have a fair experience with clouds. but what i am making is not a cloud and it is not a vortex block. its kind of in between. its being built into a t section which killagoilla pointed out to me is nothing new. but the loading system will be slightly different. so the help i need is people to give me tips. and answer me the question of how to get a lower r.o.f. please contribute all help is appreciated. much thanks.
lachlan.
want to lend a hand for something different ?

A cloud doesn't 'feed' BB's, it just has them sitting in the chamber like a vortex block has them sitting in the vortex chamber part, I don't see how this uses the advantages of both....Which the only real advantage with a cloud is that they're easy to make.

One way of lowering the ROF is by adding a tight piece of flexible tubing at the breech, it will also give you more power as it allows pressure to build up in the BB chamber before it fires. The tricky bit is to get the right compression in the tube that will release the BB only when high pressure is achieved.

a little more detail here please... sounds interesting.jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:One way of lowering the ROF is by adding a tight piece of flexible tubing at the breech, it will also give you more power as it allows pressure to build up in the BB chamber before it fires. OK dude, its either one way or the other, unless you are willing to draw a pic or something to explain in more detail. I've seen and tested my share of automatics, so its probably nothing new, and its not like somebody is gonna steal your design or anything (I'm kinda doubting you are gonna throw out a patent for it).
If you want help with something, try not to be vague man, its a PITA.

thanks... but i think something like that would be difficult for a vortex block as you can't get to the part with a larger drill bit where the rubber tube would need to go... hmm....jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:here you go, courtesy of JimmySureShot wrote:a little more detail here please... sounds interesting.
I guess you could cut a part out of the top of the barrel after it leaves the gun and put a rubber piece around it with a rubber band... kindof like a hop up chamber for an airsoft gun... and the BBs would flay farther with the hop up... hmm... ideas

I think you should just draw a diagram of the idea, because then at least people will be able to help you. And dont worry, we'll all have this thread as a reference to whose idea it was anyways; and if its too awesome for that, you should be able to do it on your own!
