Hi guy's, i have question...
when i open the camera there is wire's to the flesh light, and more.. when i cut the flesh light, and charge the camera with the battery, i can get sparks just when the wire's touch on at the other.
what i need to do if i want to get sparks in the chamber, by switch, in way that it will be useful to me for the spudgun.
i try to read the article in the SpudWiki but i didn't understand.
sorry about the bad language, hope that you help me :)

This a how to for doing want you want (however it can be iffy and requires spark gab adjustment every so often). It might be better though to just discharge the capacitor into an igntion coil (which are cheap/free at salvage yards) because you will get a much larger spark, and it will be more reliable.
Also a "flesh light" is a sex toy (don't ask how i know that), so I'm assuming your reffering to the flash tube on the circuit board.

@TaBo,

Please search before you post next time. There have been more topics created about camera flash ignition setups here than you even want to count. A simple search would have given you all the results you needed.

I found these in less than 30 seconds, all on the first page of my search results:

Look on our Wiki, and around the Forum, there's lots of great info about using camera flash circuits for ignition.

You can just order it off the internet (google it), or go to a junk yard and ask for help finding one, or go buy one new from an auto parts store.

Its 12 volts but it has no problem taking the voltage from the capacitor.

And you can't just get a coil where you pull the trigger, you have to make one.
Heres a pic of a simple camera flash/ignition coil set up (this is the set up I use for ignition on FEAR my hybrid, produces 50,000 volts or so.)

It uses two igniton coils though; to use one just wire the positive wire and negative wire to the correct terminals and then the spark will originate between the middle terminal and the positve terminal. Also you can use the flash tube as the trigger for the set up, the wiki talks about how to do that.

(killjoy: how did you get that setup to work without frying the second coil? I must have missed something, because I've killed two of them by reversing the leads. Does it have to do with how you setup the spark gap wires?)

I didn't feel like looking up a diagram, so I just drew you one that uses a single coil.

That's really all it is. The coil is the big cylinder and the capacito is the small one. If you don't have an ignition coil yet, go get one because it's easier to see what you're doing than have someone explain it.

To tell you the truth I'm not sure, i came across some website that showed how to hook the coils up in parallel so i tried it and it worked.
