I have been designing and comtemplating this hybrid build for a long time,I finally got off my lazy ass and started the build!
2nd Sep- These are early days and I have just prepped the chamber and added the threads for the fuel/air injection. There is alot of work to do on it yet and this picture is just a rough outline of what it could look like, the fuel system was just thrown together but hey atleast it's something.
This is going to be a Diary to say of the build hopefully with updates on the build every week or so.

@Crow-I'm going to do it the manual way, with water and some measuring instruments.
@wunnabie-I made it myself, its mainly parts that I have had lying around from other cannons and air compressor fittings etc.

MrCrowley, when making a hybrid, you pretty much need to fill the chamber with water, or do other kind of measurement that's accurate to the milliliter. If you just go on SpudTool and say your chamber is something like 2" x 10," the gun will never work.

I have a hybrid made from a SCBA tank (a fireman tank) and just roughly measured it with a ruler, then used the spudtool. I took it out a few weeks ago and it instantly fired every time. I measured the curve at the top then halved the volume formula and added it to the volume of the cylinder, also guesstimating that the chamber wall was at least 1/2" thick. Maybe I was just lucky.

3.If all else fails, hit it with a big hammer

Thats lucky with the rough measurements to get it right first time. The wall thickness on this tank is 20mm if memory serves correct.
I'm going to get the fittings I need to finish the chamber this afternoon maybe,if I'm not to sick then its time to measure the chamber volume and get the correct meter size.

I've got the last bit of the chamber ready to go!It's a connector to BSP threads it's 40mm and made from Aluminium (yes it's a fitting for a cam lock)so it can be welded into the chamber with out any fuss.
Were there is machined bit of the fitting is were I plan to lathe cut off to make it shorter eand easyer to weld into the chamber.

The fitting cut and the chamber about to be machined ready for the welding of the fittings into the top of it.
Were the fitting will be welded, the fitting will be sitting flush against the chamber.

Chamber and fitting.

You can have all of them soon,I most probably going to have the chamber welded and done in the next 3 days which is cool then I will be able to tell you chamber volumes etc.
But it is going to be 40mm porting, for golfballs and going to be used at many X mixtures and with oxidisers.Ohh and the chamber walls are 20mm Aluminium.
Just some info off the top of my head.

The build of this cannon ha been put on hold for a while,I have had a few things happen just recently that has FUKED the build.I got really drunk and fell in a water fountain screwed my phone, wallet, lighter and was pulled out just alive by a friend, got in three fights and was locked up by the police now some Kiwi's want revenge. Now I have to get all new sh!t like a phone and Bank Cards and what not,I also had a close family member die so I will not be on the forums for a while due to all of the reasons above and also halting the build of my Hybrid.
