It's almost definitely not pressure rated. DWV fittings have a very short socket depth, and are not made to hold pressure. They are much more liable to blow off than any normal NSF-pw fittings are.

I got out my old 1.5"/3" piston gun today, as I was waiting for the sealant on my golfball gun to dry on the new 1/2" pilot valve. After the sealant dried I jumped in my jeep and drove out into the country side and aired up my golfball gun to 65psi I took a cheap hollow plastic training golfball and filled it with red chaulk and launch it down the road with that shot I got 904 yards, (down worry there were no cars, this sections of road is has been closed for years it takes a jeep or a quad to get over some of the holes in the road) the one part I forgot about was a cross wind, the ball deviated almost 70 feet.

With normal pressures, over 1/2 mile with a shitty DWV launcher with a tiny barrel is totally unrealistic.

Is that a compressor mounted on your jeep? Or does it somehow work of of the compression of the engine?

How are you saying I got half a mile? it was just over 400 yards. Ya, its a old mopar RV2 AC compressor that I converted to pump air, I added a kilby combo pulley to my alternator the combo has the 6 grove serpintine and 3/8" Vbelt pulleys the Vbelt runs the compressor, the old fire extinguisher is just a pressure tank to store air, I would get the my coaxial to 65 psi in just under 13seconds. I mainly made it to run airtools when I go offroad but charging spudguns is a nice bonus. :D

I just got a 20' stick of sdr 21 for 13.70. Take into account the 2 inch sch 80 and you are looking at mid $2 for a sleeved GB barrel.

If you plan on making very many GB barrels it is definetly cheaper to look up a plumbing supply wholesaler in the Yellow book or directory. If you want one nice barrel or something special like rifled, etc. just buy one cause you can't get short lengths of either pipe very easy.
