This is my biggest cannon, it's the first one that I've posted on this site but it's the sixth or seventh pneumatic that I've built. The pictures aren't that great, but they should good enough.
Specs:
1" modified sprinkler valve
76 inches of 1'' diameter black iron pipe for the chamber
72 inch long .75'' diameter barrel with a ball valve breech
.75'' "cross" connector for a muzzle brake
The gun was supposed to look like the Barret .50 cal. but it doesn't really look like it, either way, it has a decent amount of power for a paintball gun.
Here is a video of the beast in action:
Anyway, enjoy!

Well, I had some extra 1'' pipe fittings laying around, and when I had the gun hooked up to the compressor, the hose got in the way so I added a piece out to the side that would keep the hose out of my arm's way. My compressor only goes up to 100 psi, so that's what I usually run it at.e1337 wrote:Very nice, the stock looks kind of weird can you explain how you use it. What psi you run at, and i doubt that the cannon makes the noise on the video. Any way nice cannon
nice,e1337
Also, what noise are you talking about? The cannon doesn't play music, but all the other noises are from the gun.

Yeah, should I go back and edit the video or leave it the way it is (I mean is there a law or something?)homedepotpro wrote:you forgot to give Offspring some credit in your video, am i right?

naw, you don't have to, I wouldn't be surprised if there was though ( gosh there is one for almost everything)
great cannon. What kind of accuracy are you getting? love the video

I'm not too sure about accuracy because I accidently left my paintballs outside on a hot day and they got all soft, so they have flat spots all over them, but with the bolt with a bunch of washers on it it's accurate to at least 60 feet. (I haven't gone back any farther than that because if I miss it will put a hole in my shed)mopherman wrote:great cannon. What kind of accuracy are you getting? love the video

Wow, great! I am looking to do exactly the same thing - make a baret m107 paintball sniper. Does the gun really make the "tweet" sound every time it is shot? It sounds AWESOME, like a laser gun or silenced pistol. GREAT WORK!

Yeah, it makes that noise every time I shoot it (still not sure why). Thanks for all the positive feedback!Hailfire753 wrote:Wow, great! True that, I used almost seven rolls on this bad boy! (kinda ran out towards the end of the stock)Blackett wrote:Thats a really sweet gun. Even better that it's got a nifty firing noise.

You really need to find out, cause I NEED to have my gun make that sound! Is it the nifty muzzle break? the valve? The tight fit of ammo? Please experiment or test it!potatoflinger wrote:Yeah, it makes that noise every time I shoot it (still not sure why). Thanks for all the positive feedback!
