I think I have found the problem.

Ha, watching too much 'Wedding Crashers' have we?
Claire Cleary: Are you OK?
John Beckwith(Owen Wilson): Yeah, I'm just swinging the jib for your dad, starboard.
Claire Cleary: But starboard's *this* way.
John Beckwith(Wilson): That's right. What am I thinking? I'm used to sailing down under with the kiwis so everything's backwards and the toilets when you flush them, the water spins the opposite way. Really freaks you out the first time you see it.

Never seen it. I can't stand Owen Wilson, or any movie he is in.
On a lighter note, the Zippo BLU is out.

Pt~~~~~~~~ on firefox and ford! Honestly, it's all about the same in the end for the average user. I tryed firefox awhile ago and other then having everything in different places like MrCrowley said, well....it's all about the same. For what i use my computer for, i don't need all the "under the hood" tech stuff as long as i can log on for what i need.

Well, Firefox will offer better protection against malicious scripts than IE, for one thing.
Anyways, I'm still an Opera fan.

I am with MrCrowley and jrrdw on this one. IE works perfectly fine for me, so I feel no need to change.

Your logic is utterly failing. I simply do not have the heart of gold required to spend my time and effort "converting" someone who just wants to be difficult for the sake of it.
Since you are genuinely curious, not simply playing Devil's Advocate... Firefox has more flexibility and is easier to modify. It also has more advanced security features as mentioned earlier. You can do a lot more with Firefox than IE, but it is for people that know how to use a computer.
If internet explorer is a Geo Metro, then Firefox is a Shelby Mustang. It is nice, but there is no point getting in if you don't know how to drive.
(You could even go so far as to use the Metro's better fuel economy as an analogy for the reduced system resources IE uses. Of course, if you are having trouble scraping together the RAM to run a browser window, you are probably not a Firefox user in the first place.)

Also, you can customize firefox to do pretty much anything you want it to with add-ons, and skins. Benstern even made a spudfiles add-on so that is a reason in itself to get firefox. It will protect you from malicious code, and you can get add-ons that get rid of all the ads on every website, its awesome!
