200 BAR / 2900 PSI gun

I have my eye on an air rifle pump that can achieve 200 BAR/2900PSI and was wondering if there is anything commercially available (for not too much) that can handle this type of pressure?
I was thinking of going with a BTB styled bullpup BBMG gun with a pressure washer handle. Would this work?
And could a HPA/CO2 tank be re-filled by an air rifle pump? (They use "DIN" fittings for fillings).
Hope you guys can help me.

thats some crazy pressure you would be dealing with thats gonna be one powerful gun

Another quick question, what size are DIN (air rifle) threads? I'm googleing as we speak, but not having much luck.
Couldn't you just cut normal, smaller threads onto it? Or have an adapter machined for it? That would be relatively cheap. Also, small diameter steel pipe will handle it, but it isn't recommended. You should use at least SCH 80 steel.

I was thinking about getting some brass or steel machined into the desired thread size, but I don't realy want a bodge job for the use of insane pressures.
Properly machined, it certainly wouldn't be a bodge job. Epoxying it would be a bodge job. Just spend the money and get the machining done, then you can adapt it to standard hydraulic quick connects (usually rated for 3000+ psi and relatively cheap).

OK thanks for that DYI I will get my dad to machine me an adapter in work if he can, if not, he has friends with Lathes than can have it done.
What type of gun could be best made to suit these pressures? a piston, BB cloud, burst disc?

you'd need some sch80 or 120 metal fittings, and attach the adapter to the tank's output don't tap a hole in the tank,

I will defiantly try and use steel for the whole gun, but it will depend entirely on the cost of the pipe.
I would never even consider tapping a HPA/CO2 tank as the structural integrity would be next to nothing at those pressures.
I would like to keep this project (If I get the pump) at a small/mid-scale as I am not shjtting money. I have about a $1000 budget (unless I decide to buy an airsoft gun) as I have just gotten a decent job at a jewelers.
EDIT : after seening the other 2 posts, I would like to clafify that having a big gun is not feasable as the pump is a biycicle styled pump, so having a feck off huge chamber would turn me into a schwarzenegger, not that its a bad thing, but I don't want to be pumping at a tank for 100 hours.

I suggest you to use smaller pressures - 2900 psi gun is going to be pricey... 1000 psi would give you decent power and it would be much easier to build - u could use regular steel pipes. Also finding valves would be easier and you could use CO2.
I know its not the answer you wanted to get - but put your design into GGDT and check how much power you'll get from 1000psi and compare it with 3000psi. you'll get 50% more power but ask yourself - is it really worth it ??
